Responsibilities

What SeatShare expects from everyone.

  • Use accurate profiles, photos, names, vehicle details, route details, and pickup notes.
  • Keep payment, booking, and important coordination inside SeatShare.
  • Respect boundaries, comfort preferences, seatbelts, luggage rules, and local laws.
  • Cancel as soon as plans change and report safety issues with useful detail.
  • Call local emergency services first if there is immediate danger.

Verification

Identity checks, profile completion, vehicle setup, payment records, and ratings all help establish context. Verification does not eliminate every risk.

In-trip tools

Trip sharing, emergency contacts, chat records, block/report controls, and support paths help keep information accessible.

Moderation

Reports may lead to review, warnings, restrictions, removal, refund decisions, or cooperation with authorities when appropriate.

Emergency guidance

If anyone is in immediate danger, call emergency services first. Afterward, contact safety@seatshareapp.com or report in-app.

Enforcement

Unsafe driving, harassment, discrimination, fraud, threats, off-platform payment pressure, and repeated no-shows can lead to removal.

Transparency

Safety, pricing, cancellation, and support policies are linked from booking-relevant pages and the footer.
